You and Our Cleaners

To maintain the best service, we constantly monitor our Cleaners’ performance. Feedback from our Clients and our Cleaners helps a great deal but we also carry out spot checks as part of our 'Quality Assurance' to ensure that our Clients, but also our Cleaners, are happy.

If a Cleaner does not meet the high standard set by us (upon consultation with both parties) we will either discuss our con­cerns to allow the Cleaner to enhance their performance or alternatively replace the Cleaner without delay.

As a precaution and in the unlikely event of property damage The Queen of Clean is insured for Public liability (£1million indemnity). All our Cleaners also carry Third Party Damage Insurance.

For further peace of mind, all Our Cleaners are required to sign security forms with regard to Client's Keys.

How do we recruit the best Cleaners? It’s not easy…we inter­view the applicants in their own home, with only a small percentage ultimately achieving registration with the Agency.

All our Cleaners are experienced, professional, reliable, trust­worthy, presentable, hardworking, honest and happy be­cause if our Cleaners are not happy, it will show in their work.

Some of the checks we undertake prior to hiring any new Cleaners include:

- Work Experience (minimum of two years)

- Languages (level of fluency in English)

- Reference Checks

- Fixed Addresses

- Police Checks/Disclosure Checks (if required/requested)

- Immigration Status under the Employment and

Immigration Act.)

HOW YOU CAN HELP

We pride ourselves on the highest levels of service and in order to be able to maintain these levels we require your co-operation.

We value our cleaners highly and if you are satisfied we want you to as well. We ask you raise their pay from £6.50 to £7 per hour after four weeks satisfactory service.

You know best how long it takes to clean your house. Imagine how long it would take you to get the place the way you want it and allocate at least that amount of time to your cleaner.

Each cleaning session should be booked for a minimum of two hours.

We ask you to pay your regular cleaner 1 weeks holiday for every three months completed service.

We ask you not to cancel your cleaner if you are going away but to find them cleaning tasks to complete while you are away. Their livelihood depends on your continued support.

We ask you to pay your cleaner weekly and to set up a standing order to retain the membership and benefits of The Queen of Clean.

You may leave the agency after thirteen cleans should you wish to enter into a private arrangement with your cleaner after this time. A months notice is required for your intention to leave. You must rejoin the agency in order to regain its services and benefits.
